If you find out, please let me know.  I want to have "matching" on my site for the searches, but I don't want the site sending out matching notices, and incredibly I couldn't find a way to turn it off.  Somebody must know how to  do this.

I don't know if this will work.

The matchmaking options are in admin -> Advanced Settings -> Matching.

There is a option there for match percent to send email out.

Maybe it's like some other areas of dolphin. Setting it to 0 or -1 may shut off the mailing. Or maybe some huge number that can't be reached.

Have not tried it. Maybe someone could try it and see if it does anything.

Hi Deano - changing that doesn't work - I haven't tried -1 but if you set that number to be greater than 99, it will just switch back if you have the matching box checked.  I don't want my members getting angry eight Lior!    Wouldn't that be nice if Boonex told us how to do this!

I had this issue on 6.1.4 and I fixed it by making the matching percent 101, I did it on my D7 , i only have a few members in my test page, but have not gotten any matching emails.

A tip that I used to suggest in D6 installations if you wanted to stop the matching emails was this:

dolphin_616_cupid_mail

Untick the Enable Cupid mails box and matchmaking boxes or try just the cupid mails box and set a high number like 300 for the percentage, Have not tried this with D7 but it would be worth a go.
