members links are broken

Hi, when I click on one of the member links on the front page it goes to a 404 page (ie:www.mydomain.com/theuser).  I'm new to dolphin so I'm not sure if I need to set something in admin first for the member link to go to the profile page.  Thanks

Make sure there's a .htaccess file in the root directory.

I see that it has the .htaccess file.  Any suggestions on how I can get it to recognize member profiles?  Thanks

I had this problem once, Took FOREVER and 15 people to help me figure out that I had accidentally deleted the index.php file from one of the directories (in this case, I deleted the one in my modules directory).

Compare your file and folder list to a fresh download. I'll bet you find your problem.

It's also possible mod_rewrite isn't loaded (or your web server-equivalent of mod_rewrite).
