membership levels arent taking changes

So I changed my membership levels for a standard user to with admin - membership levels- standard user to be able to use chat and the blogs, but I still get a "your membership level does not allow you to use"  message.

When I am in a standard users account I click the "view allowed actions", to see if you my permisions are correct and in the list of allowed actions blogs and chat are both supposed to be available but they are not!!!

Any ideas?

At this point I just want to give up on 6 and wait for 7 but it would months of work down the drain.

was this member upgraded at some point? user may have an entry in memlevels in DB

I think I am going to leave it in free mode for now.

I still need to install a few more mods and to work with the membership levels anyways. I will update this post later on

i have the same problem where a paid member is not being upgraded to the respective membership level and it still shows as standard member. i check in db and it says declined but the charge went through in paypal. any suggestions? thank you.
