message count in navigate menu?

Hi all!

How can i do something like this: l accaunt l profile l messages (X) l news l <----- (this is a navigate menu, and X is a count of new messages in inbox)?

The count of new messages in the inbox automatically shows up on the mailbox icon, are you wanting to change that formatting?

I have topmenu (not member menu) without icons (only words). AlexT already helped me in russian part of forum.
