module installation issues?

I just got Dolphin 7 installed, and I am able to create an account now.

However, at the end of account creation, it tries to send me to some sort of confirmation page, and that fails.  It appears it's looking for a /m directory that doesn't exist?

I went back to the main page and tried to create a blog post, and that leads to another page not found, this time the /blogs dir

http://localhost/testDolphin/blogs/home/

I am wondering if there were directories meant to be created that weren't?  or if the download I got is not setup right?  I got it from here, says 7.0.0, but the install has been nothing but incomplete / problematic.

Hello, your site modrewrite should allow!

PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first

I'm sorry, I don't understand what that means?

is modrewrite part of apache or dolphin?

It means your server must have apache mod_rewrite enabled and working for the directory dolphin is installed in.

You should also make sure the .htaccess file included with dolphin was uploaded to the server.

The m directory is not actually a directory. It's a permalink and mod_rewrite must be working for the dolphin search engine friendly permalinks to work.

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
