what does it cost or is someone available to help me develop my site.  I only need a few modifications.

with that much information you have provided it's impossible to give you an estimate
why don't you name some of the modifications that need to be done and maybe someone will respond :)

I need to have the chat have instant messenger.  i also need to have an area where video chat rooms are available for members where multiple members

can be in the room.

I need the front page modified so that site stats are not visible and in that space there is an area to show video trailers or have a space where i can insert

text and pictures to advertise the next upcoming episode

I would also like to have a couple of hours of support on the phone so the persons who will be running the site can ask some questions.

Magunssoft - what is easy for one person, might not be easy for another, or this person might have other priorities or be too busy to mess with configuring a site.  What is wrong with that?  I don't see anything unreasonable abouth this request.

True, but I'm (trying, I have no idea what I'm doing, really) mostly saying that some of the things they are requesting, or wanted to change are either already there, or very easy and doesn't take very long, meaning they need not spend any money or deal with any other person. I was in the middle of writing what to do for everything, actually. - (and I keep this here for archival purposes)

I am sorry if what I posted seemed rude, or out-of-line, and I was also going to be posting how you would go about doing most of what you need done. For example, the chat already has the features you are looking for. In the chat, you can click on a member's name and you will have the option to open a private messaging conversation with them, which is the equivalent of an instant message, just a bit larger of a screen size. Also, when coupled with the Media Server, you can enable audio and video communication features, and members (and yourself) can create both public and private rooms for people to join.

The pages are easily modified by navigating to Administration > Builders > Pages Blocks. On this page, you can select from a list which page to edit, and even create new pages. To remove the site stats from the home page, simply remove the appropriate block (in this case "Site Stats") from the active, to the inactive section of the page. This will disable it from displaying. To add a new block to show video trailers, or a space to insert your own custom text and photos, you can add an HTML Block into the active section from the samples section. If you have a copy of the HTML code you would wish to insert, or know what you would need written, you can easily add this content into the block.

I'm afraid I can't help you on the lines regarding the telephone, since we don't get any service out here. But, as for the BoonEx news, do you mean the site news, or news from BoonEx (which displays their blog feed)? There are two (three, the site having a featured and latest news section). If you want to rename the BoonEx news to say "Spark it up News", you can go back to the page blocks on the home page and click on the "BoonEx News" block, where you will have a place called caption, where you can rename it to whatever you like. You can follow the same steps for the other news section, if you wish.

Even though I am awaiting eagerly for the arrival of our four-legged overlords, I must remember that it is only a dream, along with the Unity bit.
