need some quick help.

hello, im trying to make it so when a user attempts to join hes/she is required to enter an invite code and a refer. the invite code is found in the referers profile. is there any easy way to do this using the "advance - check" field. 

So I'm not exactly sure if I can add sql query's to that field with php, or know how. But I'm pretty sure thats what I have to do.. can someone just tell me if I'm on the right path of going about this?

Don't know why I didn't think of this first.

Under Admin>Settings>Other  look for 

check this setting to "on"

Now your site is by invitation only, meaning, when your logged in, you use the link at the bottom "Invite a Friend"

the system will email the invitation link to the person, when they go to the site they are able to access the join page then, any other users will get a message stating the site is by Invite only..

Yeah after doing a little work its way more then i wanna do. I'm just going to stick with the default "invite only" method. thanks newt
