I have a good idea for a develůopers who make credit/featured modules. This idea is not mine but running already on a dating sites. There is already few credits/points modules and also featured modules. Good will be if member can pay either by point or straights by money to be featured - BUT as site grows there is plenty people who pay to be featured so they are not much seen as they want. On some dating sites they have it way that more points/money user invests the higher in featured he will be and than he dropping everyday tolower and lower positin in featured unless his featured subscription expire. Now if member will pay more points or money hw can jump back to top of featured.
What u think. I know owner of one datring site where this becomes top feature he is actually making money on and he gor like 1.000 usd everyday makining only from thuis..so I think its very worth. User who pay either points or money to be featured for example for a 14 days have a section in their profile visible only by profile owner where it says for example: YOur featured profile on fronpage block is on position 40 . and link PAY 100 POINTS TO JUMP ON 1ST POSITION NOW. SUrprisingly huge amount of people pay and pay to be seen more on frontpage featured members section...
