 Hello, I set up a dolphine 7.0.9 instance and searched for a function where I can post news. There is a news section but I have no idea how to post a news. I also need a function of parsing the news into a little picture and a teaser like it is done on facebook. How can it be set up this way? Is any special plugin needed? I am quite new in the material so please excuse my maybe simple questins. Thanks, Stefan |
If you havent done so already, you will need to install the News module via the admin panel. Tools > Modules
If you have installed the News modules already, the only way to post 'News' is through the Admin Panel since only an Admin can post news. Modules > News

The news module is installed but I can't find the news posting in my admin panel. I saw it on the dolphin online demo. But yeah it is not what In am searching for. Like I wrote before I need a news parsing function so that the poster does't have to type a text or link a picture on his own. Is that function available for free or just for payed plugins? |
