I had to rebuild my server as the main board went out, after recovering from the backups, the database import, and other misc things associated with this....
I no longer get any error messages from the database when there is a database issue.
I have been up and down the server and the code, I have no idea why it wont send.
I turned off the SMPT mailer mode, same thing.
When I send a message to a user, or someone sends a message, the site emails them notifying them of the message, so the site knows how to email. It just will never email a database error message.
checked in inc/db.inc and all error reporting is set to true.
