only admin and non members have features

i have a weird thing related to membership level im sure, bcuz all members  do not see chat, boards, join events, crawl line is static for them as wellm RSS wont work it is like they are all blocked... only non members and admin see these what do u think it is? membership permissions are use chat , so i do not know what it can be.

do you know how to "set" the levels in your memberships?

i went to membership levels and actions use chat is blue

well, I'm on site, went to join form. You need to turn off your template caching..

[edit] perhaps its related to aqb gifts and points? that is the link in place of the chat, or is that added to the chat template page itself? 

it must be the gift module, as the chat is there for a "guest"

member signs in and a "rule" is applied somewhere, so this is not a Dolphin problem.

i uninstalled points after backing DB up and gift system however, it has changed nothing still wont allow members to see , do  what non members and admin can

Go into admin->settings->Advanced settings-> templates. Turn off the option for JS Compression and then clear the cache. Leave the JS compression option off for now. I believe is is not working properly. A common problem. The jquery library is not loading and the pages are full of javascript errors as a result.

It seems like it is still on. Still a lot of javascript errors as well.

Clear the cache folders manually. There are 3 folders, cache, cache_public and tmp.

If that does not do it, finding it will be a problem. You have something that was added, most likely to the template that is interfering with the jquery library preventing it from loading. And it has to be something that does something different when a member is logged in.

so basically go in ftp and remove all files in those folders except .htaccess?

I joined, but am stuck now on the avatar page, can select my image to upload but nothing happens.

Cannot select default site avatar either.

Like Deano says, site is full of errors,

comments not working, makes the entire page reload, polls not showing or responding.

i did just get a professional install perhaps its still happening, or maybe a module its crazy only members are affected,but soon i will have cache clear and see if it solves it

Turn off the other option for JS caching as well. The problem is ocuring in this file.

It's a cache of the javascript. So you will need to turn that off so a more percise location can be determined.

Ok. Most of your problems seem to have cleared up. I am now only seeing errors in the simple messenger module. So that is where the problem is.

Yes, i could tell it was off. Most of your errors are now gone as i mentioned. The problem appears to be in the simple messenger module which may have a corrupt file. It may have to be uninstalled, re-uploaded to replace any damaged files and then reinstalled.

It should be safe to turn html and css caching back on, but leave the JS stuff off.

YAY !! some features have returned chat , join events , RSS looks like that was it !! only thing is crawl does seem to work for members and i have advised him of it, the things i need are there thats whats important
