orca forum error

i tried recompiling the language in Orca forum and now i am getting this error:

Warning: require_once(/home2/thechur3/public_html/modules/boonex/forum/layout/base_en/params.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/thechur3/public_html/modules/boonex/forum/layout/beta2_en/params.php on line 3

any ideas?

Your running a custom template called beta2 by the looks of it. This error is common when the language for the default UNI template has not yet been compiled.

So try switching your template back to UNI, then compile the forums, then switch back to your custom and try compiling that one again. Which may throw a different error if the author included the _en forum layout folder as part of the template. That will be a permissions issue.

The forums and custom templates are always a pain.

If what Deano said doesnt work, try creating a copy of the modules/boonex/forum/layout/uni folder and rename it to beta2 (example: modules/boonex/forum/layout/beta2). Then try to recompile the language.
