page not found after making new page.... HELP ME PLEASE

I have done these steps:

1. administration -> page builder ->page blocks -> add page

2. then click add column button

3. then drag html block

4. click view page link on the right - once I do this it say "page not found"

Please help me fix this problem I'm using 7.06

Are you also having trouble accessing modules? If I had to guess, you don't have a .htaccess file in the root directory of the installation.

Edit: If the error isn't a 404 error from your web server, ggsinc is probably right about the page not being saved. You need to add a block to the page before it saves. It may take a few seconds for the changes to take affect.

My guess would be that you have to save the page before you can see it.

I have made pages before but when i add the html block.. Put a code in it. then you will not see the words html block or the name I gave it. The block is just blank . I refresh the page and the words are there, but once you go to view the page it say page can not be found

 The page is created first, then the you make your columns, and drag your blocks to the columns. 

Each movement is automatically saved.

If your "view page" link is not working for you, copy the URL from your pages builder browser and open in new window.

If your able to see the page when copying the link to a new browser window; you may have a corrupt file in the pages builder section.

This would be my guess.
