 When I try install ads module I got:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/XXX/public_html/XXX.com/modules/boonex/ads/install/langs/cz.php on line 1
xxx and xxx.com are just substitutions to hide my site...
Any idea whats wrong ? I looked to translated file cz.php and its same as english file - only difference is translation otherwise there seems to be nothing wrong with it...

you've probably done something wrong in translation, post your file modules/boonex/ads/install/langs/cz.php here |

you are right - I tried to just rename non translated en.php to cz.php and than it works but translated file dont work. I compared code line by line but so far I didnt found any errors in it. I also wrote translation in php edit software which checked file as OK. Here is file:

does somebody see why this language file gives out parsing error ? I cant find any errors in that or difference with en.php file.. |
this is really weird problem - I have been intensively testing this and found following: * if I translate even one string (doesnt matter which one) in language file it gives out parsing error unexpected T_VARIABLE on line 1 while trying install ads module *if I only load original en.php file to text editor - doesnt translate anything - only save it with my language name cz.php in UTF8 and than try install ads mod same error again * if I only load original en.php file to text editor - doesnt translate anything - only save it with my language name cz.php but this time leave original windows 1250 ISO than Im NOT getting any error * If try translate file and trying save in original ISO windows 1250 ( as this is only instance I had NOT error while testing with original en.php ) again error
Can I send a file to somebody so u can test it if u will have same problem or just make cz.php from what I posted above ... Any info whaz can be possibly problem on this will be great as Im going really mad from this ... |
