permissions reversal - Help!

Why does the install script report during the final moment that the folder /inc is writable whatever permission I give it?

I I give it 755 the script reports 'writable', and desired level shall be 'non-writable'

If u use D 6.1.4 then this trouble may happen if ur server has Apache in CGI mode. In 6.1.6 it was fixed.
