photo problem

i just enabled the photos module and for some reason when i create a new album, it doesn't show up.

i just says photo album successfully saved, but it is not there. it says there are zero photo albums. the weird thing is, when i go to the admin and click on the photos module link, i see the album and photo i uploaded, but i don't see it on my site.

am i missing something??

i just realized that my albums are ending up in the disapproved section. i have auto-activation of files and auto approve categories selected in the module settings. is there something else i'm not doing right?
