php pop-up window

Hey guys,

I have a splash page on my site (websterleidenexperience.org), how can I put a pop-up on this page?

I want to put up a box to allow people to click through to just look around without signing in.

I'm just not sure how to do a pop-up on a php page.

Good idea. I always advise anyone with a splash page to let visitors know what the ciontent of the site is - the site owner usually responds with "why"? which, to me, is such a dumb ass question - Unless your site is a household name, I wont join unless i know what the content is.

As to how you do the pop up... I dont know, but I shouldnt think it would be too difficult. Alternatively, you could considder placing a video about the site and its content and reasons to join onto the splash page.

just some thoughts.

I think a content box with information/a video would be better than an annoying pop-up.
