pix not works

recently for another scrip the main server was updated to php 5.5 and also at just a few weeks before I upgraded to Dolphin 7.3 and now not only does my test sites no long work right but I am getting complaints from certain clients that there subdomains don't work right, everything seems fine but picture and avatar uploads will not complete so I have host4web looking into this but they suggested I ask dolphin if anything is known here.

Dolphin requirements changed in Dolphin 7.2, now additional php extensions are required:

fileinfo and exif PHP extension
