How do I delete "Discussions" ---- people ( spammers) post hundreds of posts on my site & I can not find link in admin to delete them

I'm assuming you mean in the Forums? When you are logged in as an admin, look on your forum submenu for "manage forums" - from there you should be able to delete discussions.
