 hi, i have read in the boonex blog recently that there will be a pricing change in the new dolphin pro. i remember they said the modules are gonna be outside the regular licence i didn't found the post, can some explain me that or send me the link to the post

It was my understanding that the base package of Dolphin was going to be under a new license that does not require attribution and that one would be able to download and install that base package. The base package may or may not contain any modules. The modules not contained in the base package would be available in the Market. I don't have any ideal about pricing. I may be wrong about the above, that was just my understanding of how things were going to change. Geeks, making the world a better place |
Yes, GG is quite right. We may however, hold off to 7.3 with the change, since it requires a bit more time than we're willing to wait before 7.2 release. The plan is to provide a free core with some basic modules, but put out extra modules to Market and sell individually for $10-$60/ea depending on module complexity. Heart Head Hands |
