reCAPTCHA on my site join page version 7.1.4

Hello everyone

I just got a lot of issues as spammer join my site and post accessive advertise links on my site which cause my site suspended by hosting.

Hosting advise me to go to google to generate reCAPTCHA

I did it and edit my new reCAPTCHA in admin -- i log off admin refresh home page and click on Join --- reCAPTCHA is not show 

please help me

Go to your admin; builders, Profile Fields, and make sure the reCAPTCHA item is included on your form.  If it is in the inactive block, drag it up to your profile form at the end of the items.

By the way, I noticed that your navigation menu is a bit wide.  There is a module in the market that can make the menu be on two rows.  That would help with your page layout.  The module is:

how come it is not showing in join from still ???

Go back to google and reapply for the keys, making sure the domain is entered correctly.

I did went to google and re-generate a new set of keys - edit it in admin - clear cache - chache public and tmp in admin and in cpanel clear and refresh brwoser- click on join page ------------ camptchaka is not display

I don't have an answer for why it is not there.

However, what you could do is to remove that capiticha thingy because it is horrible anyway; most of the time they are impossible to read; and besides, bots have broken the algorithm anyway.  In its place put a human check question such as "What is 2+1+4" and the person has to enter the result of the addition.  The idea here is to stop bots.  Humans you can not stop from signing up.

Dean also has an antispam module that is considered to be very good at stopping spam.

I went to admin/advance setting / security ------------------- there is not camptchaka at all both key (public & private) are not there

So it would seem something is preventing the keys from being stored in the database.

Take a look at this; this is the method I use on my site because the captach thingy is more of a nuisance than anything.

You can leave the keys in place but you need to drag the recaptcha thingy to the inactive block.

clear caches refresh browser - join page do not have captchaka but the human check is also not showing ???

I would need access to your site to work on it.  Otherwise I have no idea what is going on.

OK, looking now.

Fixed.  You had the security question and reCaptcha on the second page of the join form; which meant you would have to click on join and then be taken to the second page of the form.  Splitting the join form can help; but with such a short join form I am not sure it makes sense.  You can leave in both the question and reCaptcha to help fight spam join-ups.

Now, to set what page the fields will be on, you click on the header item for the block of entries, the blue top item, and you will see a "Join Page" with a selector; the first page is number zero.

Oh, if you have multiple pages, it is best to change the join form to say continue, and then at the end it will say join or complete join.  There is a topic somewhere on here on how to change the button to say continue until at the end, join.

so these are the step to make it work

1. go to google recamtchaka to generate private & public keys for your site.

2. go to admin/advance setting /security --- past the google recamtchaka in there

3. in admin/page builder / profile fields --- click on the capchat block make sure it is there

    select join page from dropdown menu
