rms? video comment will not connect!

I'm a bit confused! does dolphin 7.0 require rms to be installed or does it come integrated with it somehow?

my video chat and comment will not connect. I click record and it says it cannot connect.

In my admin panel / ray base settings... is pointed to

rms address- rms.boonex.com

rms port 10000

rms http port 10080

use of rms check box unchecked

if I check the box it will notify me that cannot connect to rms

any help would be greatly appreciated, it seems i have so much to learn

that has been dead for 6 months. you need to get an RMS account stand alone if your hosting provider does not provde RMS.

highlighter hung up on this post. yes you need an RMS connection, and you would need that check box ticked to use RMS. the chat should load textual, havent tested that, but that was the way it was in d6

Ok thanks I thought so!

I have installed rms on my site and yes my site will run it. But there is a string to be edited...

JAVA_HOME=/rms/jrel.x;

the jrel.x file... where is this usually located? I cant seem to find it anywhere

The java home depends on your server.

Mine is JAVA_HOME=/usr/bin/java;

If you don't know, ask your hosting company.
