set german date

Hi,

i have a question about setting dateformat. i use D7 with german language. i changed all options in adminpanel for date to german... example : d.m.Y

all saved.. cache are empty but its no effect. the dateformat are further in eglish . can anyone help how to change it in german format ?

does it happen to all pages are just a few page? also just to be sure the cache is clear delete all files in cache folder except .htaccess

thx ... i don´t know why the cache was at first time not empty, but now its working. the only one where it no works. its on the join page for registration. the calendar shows 2010-01-26 . give it a way to change this to german ?

Im not sure if there is a setting in the admin panel for this, I think the only way is to modify this script:

plugins/jquery/ui.datepicker.js

Example for russian date format : plugins/jquery/ui.datepicker-ru.js

have looked into the russian file. hmm.... now i searched on jquery site and have found the german language file for translation. i have prepared to install the german language as many ways, but i don´t become to work it :( .
