shoutbox doubles, triples, & quads

Getting complaints from members again. Shoutbox is doubling, tripling and sometimes quad displaying text with one hit of the enter key... After using it for a while, I started experiencing doubled text. Doesn;t matter in firefox or IE problem seems to exist.

Anyone experience this?

I can't recreate this.

I can do it every once in a while by typing something and then hitting the enter key very quickly after adding the text. It's weird and hard to reproduce. I have a couple members that tell me it happens to them almost every time. Might have something to do with a slow internet connection?

Try increasing the shoutbox update interval. I had this problem when i dropped it down to low.

I also got complaints from my members about this for the Shout Box and the Instant Message box.
