splashpage HELP!?

We are in the design phase of our splash page.

What kind of features are important for us to have, for search engines to index us best?

Other general information/features regarding splash page design/layout are also more than welcome?

If you look thru this forum you'll find different answers.
some will say don't use splashpage at all others will be more open to use the splashpage.

I think if it fits the purpose then use it.

make sure it's clean and tells the people what the site is about. (tekst, images etc...)

most importent = content, content, content.

note: if you use multiple languages then it's a nice feature to have that on your splashpage too.
