Hi can any 1 please tell me how the store works as I have listed 1 item but there is no price list nothing. Am I missing something?

or point me in the right direction if this has been covered. as there is no search in the forum.

You need to also setup the payment module as well. See here:

When adding an item to your store, you are given the option to put a price in at that time. Try editing the item and seeing if you just missed it possibly.

Hi thanks for that I have done all that as the membership ppl can pay me and it works. but there is no way to add a price and when I add the item it is not listed only on my profile I want it to be in a general store is this possible

If you go into the Builders>Page Block and choose Homepage from the drop down, look in the inactive blocks for Public Store. Drag that block to where you want ti displayed on the homepage to show there.

As for the price, when adding a new item, there is a place under Product's Files to set the price.

Hi done that but it is not showing on the page I have move some of the things to see if it was me but thy move but the store did not show.

and when I go to look at it as a member it don't display nothing and then I click on recent item it says access denied but the item was placed for members.

Ok, I was playing with this and noticed that it WILL NOT display on the homepage UNLESS you set the privacy settings for viewing to "Public". It displayed then. You should be "who" can purchase your product to Members.

Not sure if it should do this by design or not. May be a bug here..

ok I got the store there now but it is displaying a lock. both settings on public

Ok, lets start from scratch.... Go to your store click add product:

Fill in all the required fields

Upload a screen shot (Under Products Screenshots)

Under Product's Files, add the Price and choose Members for Allow to purchase:

Under Privacy Settings:

- View Product = Public

- Posting in forum = Customers Only

Click Submit.. Also, please tell me you are doing this as the admin too :)

Can you provide access to your site via PM raf696 ? to check this problem ... there is not block with uploading product's files for some reason...

well I payed to upgrad but nothing lol so I still cant send you a pm.

The only place, in the store, where you can put a price is "downloadable" products.  The only response that I got was that may be a flaw.   In the meantime, what I'm doing is listing prouducts in the "downloadable file" section (so I can list a price).  I just upload a general-information PDF in the "upload file" section, list my item and price.  It works for now.

If anyone knows how to get prices listed for merchandise or services please let me know.

I'm not getting the area to add prices either but will keep working on that.

Is it only admin that can any type of products, what about individual members - everyone seems to have the store option on their profile but if they can't add prices to products, that won't work.

Memberships are able to pay.

I am not sure that you can have a price on anything other than items for download. I made a blog entry some time back along about it.

The problem was that your current membership has "files add" action disabled. Since users can't add files - they can not upload files to store too.

But maybe some correction for admin is needed - so admin will be able to upload files regardless of membership settings, I have added ticket for it: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/ticket/1844

but for now - you can enable "files add" membership action to allow files upload in store.

It will be changed in 7.0.1, if you want to allow admin only to upload files now - then you need to create separate membership especially for admin.
