systm banners problem

I cannot get in to edit my banners, is shows  "Database query error"

and the sql system_banner_shows ' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

That error means the table crashed and requires repair. You can repair a table through phpMyAdmin, or by contacting your hosting provider. To repair a table through phpMyAdmin:

1. (In phpMyAdmin) Navigate to your installation's database
2. Check the box next to the specified table that requires repair
3. Select to repair the table from the drop-down menu below the list of tables

If this doesn't work, you may need to replace the table.
