tinymce removal

How do I remove the TinyMCE from D7 and install the new full version?

Those who do not understand or know what TinyMCE - it is the Text Editor in D7: http://tinymce.moxiecode.com

I tried that before: I don't recommend doing it. It will break the integration, and cause a lot of issues, since integrations can easily break over updated releases. I also recall BoonEx possibly adding their own additions to their version of the plugin used in Dolphin, which is another reason why not to do it.

I tried this with D6 and found that it did not work - there were non-standard modifications made to the TinyMCE code - the absence of which broke the integration.

Not 100% if this is still true with D7 - the easiest way to try is to simply replace the plugins/tiny_mce folder with the new version downloaded from moxiecode and see what happens. (make sure you backup the old version first)

I don't have time to try this myself, but I am interested to see if it works - please post back and let us know.
