transfering files from one domain to another

Hello all,

I am (as I write this) transfering from a test site to the live site. I have trasfered mysqldatabase and my bespoke template and this has been a success however I know that I need to transfer more (e.e langs etc). I am not sure what files though. I am currently missing member profiles, profile pics, blog, music, video, events and articles. I feel that there is a file that links all these pages so that dolphin recognises it. At present, when I look at these pages, the following comes up...

"Not Found

The requested URL /articles was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request"

I cannot remember what file deals with the location of these pages. Please feel free to give me a list of files that need to be transfered from the test site to the actual site so that every page and entry can be duplicated.

many thanks

ICED

EDIT: I have the latest version of dolphin and ray and everything has been installed according to the instructions. The server fully supports dolphn also.

I do not think that I need to transfer "every" file as this may corrupt the new install due to some files being very specific to the test sites domain name. The live site has a totally different domain name.

If all files are transferred, it will be a laborious job going through and checking but I just need the actual key files that allow dolphin to recognise pages... I stumbled across such file(s) about a month ago but never kept a record of it.

In general the only 2 files that need changing are the :headers.inc files in /inc and ray/modules/global/inc

(as I said, in general) other modules, and modifications change this dramatically, and also this is based on what version of Dolphin you are using.

Also, be sure that your .htaccess files are correct for the server

That was the one. LMAO... I literally went through a lot of files and they were exactly as they should be but decided to look at .htaccess and it has relocated everything (i.e. post, blog, articles, events etc).

Just in case this happens to anyone... look for the .htaccess file relevant to boonex and not others. That was my mistake initially.

Thanks

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
