I don't understand how to upgrade to 7.2 and keep my translated files.

its says that i need to create a translated copy of lang_en.php for your custom language in the same directory.
i have already translated file online. do i have to re-translate the new (7.2) lang_en.php to my language in the
upgrade directory, or download the online lang file to the upgrade directory and upload it again??....
