That's the full download - can't be used to upgrade. Download the actual patch here: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/7.1.5-7.1.6

Depends. If there were core file changes, those have likely been lost. You'll need to re-apply them or restore the site from backup. Otherwise, you can try continuing by uploading the patch files and running the upgrade script.

I've made those kind of mistakes here before. When you are doing any type of upgrade or install, especially with Boonex, read and reread the instructions and make sure you understand what needs to be done BEFORE you start ... It will save you endless hours of extra work.... If you have ANY questions, post them in the appropriate forum and the other members here will be more than happy to help you out.

Did you update the build number in /inc/header.inc.php?

During the upgrade page, at the bottom... did you read what requires to change? In that case, you probably missed it. Only need to manual edit the header.inc.php in inc folder. Change 5 to 6.

[ver] needs to be 7.1. [build] needs to be 6. So:

$site['ver']               = '7.1';

$site['build']             = '6';

I have been here awhile and even I clicked on the full download link.

Boonex, please make this change on the page:

Download Dolphin Pro 7.1.6 Full Version

Download Dolphin Pro 7.1.6 Upgrade

This is not the first time people have downloaded the full version thinking they were getting the upgrade version.  Remember the KISS principle.  Placing the link to the patch in the instructions is OK, but on that blog post you should have directly linked to the upgrade.

/httpsdocs is considered the root directory for the site, so it isn't a part of the URL. So the URL would be: meine-seite.com/info/upgrade/

Make sure the .htaccess file is deleted from the /upgrade directory. Also clear your cookies - that usually resolves this kind of error.

What version are you currently on? You can only upgrade from the immediately previous version. So for example: Dolphin 7.1.4 => 7.1.5 => 7.1.6. You can't upgrade from 7.1.4 to 7.1.6.

It maybe update is already applied, or maybe you didn't changed version in inc/header.inc.php file during the previous site update.

Please check what is Dolphin version is specified in inc/header.inc.php file:

$site['ver']               = '7.1';
$site['build']             = '6';

and compare it to the version in the database:

SELECT * FROM  `sys_options` WHERE  `Name` LIKE  'sys_tmp_version';

they must match!

 Ever see someone standing on a boat dock with their water skis on, holding onto a tow rope, yell out to the speed boat, "Make it happen captain!"  Then then the "Captain" guns it while the dude on the dock waits for the substantial slack to be taken out of the rope.

Bitte überprüfen Sie was Dolphin-Version ist in inc / header.inc.php Datei angegeben:

$ Site ['view'] = '7.1'; $ Site ['build'] = '6';

und vergleichen Sie sie mit der Version in der Datenbank:

SELECT * FROM `sys_options` WHERE` Name` LIKE 'sys_tmp_version';

sie müssen übereinstimmen!

 in inc / header.inc.php

$ Site ['view'] = '7.1';
$ Site ['build'] = '5';
Record 1 query result:
sys_tmp_versions 7.1.4
Have in Plesk automatic updates.
Dolphin Patch v.7.1.6 files are loaded in directory upgrade .htaccess deleted.

The problem probably lies with the upgrade from 7.1.4 to 7.1.5

Geeks, making the world a better place
Quote · 17 Jun 2015

is now complicated.
Upgrade files are 7.1.6 install.
database 7.1.4
haeder.inc.php 7:15

have Automatic Updates in Plesk, where dolphin install is
Now to see in Plesk Dolphin 7.1.5
Become database entry on 7.1.5 update and hope the best

database 7.1.4

If the database states 7.1.4, then you know the upgrade to 7.1.5 did not go as it should have went because the upgrade scripts updates the version in the database.  You could backup the database and the site files and try to run the 7.1.4 to 7.1.5 upgrade again.

And delete the 7.1.6 upgrade directory before trying to upload the 7.1.5 upgrade

Geeks, making the world a better place
Quote · 17 Jun 2015

Actually, the best way for you to approach this would be to restore the site and database from the 7.1.4 backups if you created them.  Then proceed to upgrade.  However, if you have had site content added, then this method would lose all new site content since you attempted the upgrade from 7.1.4.

Bumping this as I downloaded the full version (as well) instead of the patch.

Good job I decided to put on the sunglasses and stick around to see what's been happening in the forum.

Upgrade Instructions from 7.1.5 to 7.1.6

http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/7.1.5-7.1.6

Download and extract the Patch Dolphin-Patch-v.7.1.6

http://get.boonex.com/Dolphin-Patch-v.7.1.6

Then go back and read upgrade instructions.

Then check all modules are compatible.

Double check; get some sleep and get back to the instructions when feeling fresh.

hi
My inc / header.inc.php has autonomously changed the Dolphin version 7.1.6 to 7.1.5. How can that be ???

It can't.. You have to manually change that when you run the upgrade.

and those changes took effect, but for the boonex dolphin website to know that so it doesn't keep reporting there is a new update you have to manually change the file as has been stated over and over. Read up, modify the file, and you are done.
