user password edit

Has anyone worked on an admin module to allow simple editing of users passwords?

Deano tools allows this but process means going into admin, going to module, selecting user, then logging in as user then going to profile and editing profile, then going back to admin.

not a long process ( took longer to write!) but too long for some users.

Should be able to have a simple search user in admin, then edit password button as its just an sql field?

Anyone worked on this?

would be ideal to also have a send password reminder button alongside edit password button.

You would think all users should be able to do this, but in the real world, some are completely IT illiterate (athough still want to use social sites!)

No module needed, it is simple enough.  Go to admin, go to members, click on the text link beside the member's avatar/thumb.  That link takes you the the member's profile edit page where you can quickly change their password.  I have only had to do this a few times with members because members can easily change their password using the nifty Denre Password Forgot module that makes it very easy for members to handle password changes.
