Cara que coisa complicada! Meu ingles e super peba! Ai instalei o dolphin 7 no Arvixe mais não funfa nem o Upload de audio e nem de video.. e os caras ficam se batendo pra resolver ja ta com 24hs isso! Alguem pode me dar uma luz... nesse fim de túneo?

The last post here is about a guy that is trying to upload video or sound, but it is not working at all.
What basic possibilities we have?
1- if is a sharing host he may check permissions first.
2- which a php.ini should be place (besides root)?
3- ?

There are a number of reasons why uploads might not be working, such as:

• PHP configuration does not meet the minimum requirements (.e.g, upload directives have a value that's too small)
• Directories have improper permissions

  I tried to reproduce the issue and it was not hard to do.  The same issue for me too.   hahah
didn´t know until now.

   Well, everything is going well.  I can see mp3 file been uploading (using flahs uploader) and I can then wirte a description, title, etc.. and submit it.  But the album still keeps empty, no file there.  If it was uploaded, where is it?

• Cron job wasn't setup properly (check the email for error messages) or at all (add one)

 Cron Job was ok.  Working well and no error msg inbox.  I had pass for this hell once lol.
Where do I manage the sound or video file size limitation?

  Nathan sugeriu que voce checasse seu e-mail do servidor por erro no servico de Cron.  Sabe o que significa ne?  Aquele script do servidor que vai limpando seus arquivos temporarios.  Se estiver mau instalado, irah te enviar varias mensagens de erro para o seu e-mail.  Aparentemente, se nao estiver bem configurado, isto poderah causar erro no upload de arquivos de audio e video.
   Voce ja resolveu o seu problema?

Não! E o pior que ja reinstalei o sistema varias e varias vezes.. e nada de solucionar.. !

Ja entrei encontato com o suporte do Arvixe mais nada de resposta.. eles so pedem pra mim.. enviar loguin e e os 4 ultimos numeros de cartao de creditos.. que usei para assinar o plano bosta deles..

Estou muito decepcionado.. e o pior que tenho clientes que ja estao twitando pra mais de 20,000, usuários do twitte a implnataçao do sistema.. ate pedi pra parar se nao acaba queimando o serviço!

eu nao sei nada de Cron - mais no site do tutorial de instalaçao diz pra deixar tudo em ( * * * * ) mais todas as vezes que vou la olhar ta assim: */5 * * * * e o bug continua! ja to arrancando os cabelos.. to gastando uma nota.. pra deixar tudo em ordem..(  www.ulinfor.net ) .

Quando finalmente consegui upar uma foto - Deu a mensagem -  500 Erro Server -  ai quando normaliza - para de upar novamente,,

Ontem o suporte disse que eles estava com erro no banco de dados e que hoje estaria tudo ok!

Mais em fim.. detale pra falar com eles so usando o Google Tradutor.. puts tudo en ingles!!

Bem se alguem puder me dar uma luz, vai conseguir um amigão..! Eu pretendo distribuir a tradução do dolphin que comprei por R$40,00 de graça pra ver se acaba com essa pilantragem de monopolio besta!

Ja basta combrarem $999,00 pra um sitema 100% funcional.. que nem sei se vale apena mesmo pagar essa fortuna!

Estou verificando aqui se alguem tem uma solucao e conforme for aparecendo eu te passo as intrucoes.

seja se este parametro serve para voce.  Para testar basta deletar todos os emails de erro e depois de alterar para este parametro, verifique se os erros continuam.

É incrivel.. que o Arvixe e certificado pela Boonex... Mai todas as vezes que instalo ou desistalo o Dolphin 7.0.7 via cpanel  ele apresenta esse erro:

 This is definitely a server side issue related to Dolphin instalation.  You might contact them to solve it.
Este eh definitivamente o problema no servidor durante a instalacao.  Entre em contato com eles para que solucionem isto.

Just to chime in but may be completely of here-

My host and I worked through similar issues and found that the cron jobs though everything appeared fine to me, was actually pointing to another partition altogether and I wasn't getting an error report back...and I couldn't find my files either. The only report back I got back from my host was that they did in fact incorrectly configure cron pointing it to the wrong partition, and I could see the change reflected when I went back and look at the new configuration.

Don't know if this helps at all...

I performed a fresh install and was generated cron:

cd /home/ulinfor/public_html/periodic; /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php -q cron.php

 This could help a lot indeed UnderDog!  thank you for sharing this.  I am going to translate it to Portuguese ...

Talvez voce deva questionar seu servidor assim:

  Yes, fresh install will auto-generate this params, but, in my rare case of sharing host, it does not work well.  The one I provided here seems to solve my issue.   That, my applies to this user too.  Since his default cron job seems to be not working weel, this worthw a try. 

Ulinfor, in case you are still having troubles with video upload.  Here is something you can try there.
Login into your FTP account or use your Cpanel > File Manager.  Go to your dolphinsite/flash/modules ...  and open each module folder.  then put a php.ini inside the ´files´ and ´skins´ folders.   Don´t forget to put one php.ini for the Flash folder.
Now, Login into yourdolphinsite.com/administration,  Go to Modules > Flash Apps.  If it load correctly for you, so you are ready to go.
Clean Cache and have fun.

  Caso ainda esteja com problemas no upload de vídeos.  Aqui está algo que você pode tentar aí.
Abra seu FTP ou use o Cpanel>File Manager e vá em seu sitedolphin/flash/modules... Abra a pasta de cada um dos módulos e coloque o php.ini dentro das pastas ´files´ e da pasta ´skins´.  Não se esqueça de por um php.ini no diretório(pasta) .../flash/
  Agora faça o login no seu sitedolphin.com/administration e vá em Modules > Flash Apps.  Se ele carregar corretamente, então você está pronto para seguir em frente.
Limpe o Cache e divirta-se.
