video upload, chat, boards, all stoped working

Hi, I used to have all this working. Havent used the site since I set it up about a year ago. I was just about to start using it after setting it up and personal problems kept me from doing anything on the web until now.

I can view the videos that were uploaded a long time ago along with the board that I had saved a long time ago. But now when I go to boards it just shows that it is connecting and never does. Videos don't upload and when I go to chat there is nothing there to chat in.

Not sure if this is a problem on my end or a hosting problem.

Well I checked with my host ( Arvixe) and they confirmed that all my RMS information is correct and there was nothing that they could see wrong from there end. Anybody got any ideas of what I should start checking? Thought I would get this working before I upgraded. Or should I upgrade and see if it fixes the problem

I have arivxe also and like you all was working well.

Then I upgraded from version 7.0.2 to 7.0.5 and the video was still working for the most part, but then I had a problem uploading videos.

They got that fixed but then I started maxing out the CPU.

So, I moved the site and did a fresh install on another domain with nothing else installed. It was still hosted with Arvixe but on a different Server and a different account.

That was late Feb. and they still have not figured out why it is happening, or how to fix. Everything else seems to be working great, but the video is shot.

I think Arvixe has great hosting, and everything I have installed is working great, but I don't think they can handle Dolphin 7.0.5

Good luck to you.

Arvixe drops the ball..

Thanks for trying, but this is an issue with your
Server, and not Dolphin. If you remember I do
have this version installed on my other Domain
MarketingSoftwaGroup and it uploads the videos
just fine. The install on Gary-Marketing is a fresh
install because MarketingSoftwareGroup was
hitting 100% cpu usage.

As for the CRON, if it was executing I should
have gotten a diagnostic email just like I got for
the other CRON job but didn’t, so I still think its
not executing.

What about the error messages in the Server
Log when attempting an upload there are just
too many un-answered questions concerning
this problem.

I supplied the Admin user ID and Password for
the Dolphin install, and no one from Arvixe even
used it.

I think Arvixe normally has great Support but
this problem has been very badly handled and
its unfair to just blame it on Dolphin.
I have posted this in the Dolphin Forum, and I'll
update the post with the out come.
