watermark bug

Hi,

Watermark have a big problem!

It need to be applied after image resize...if I upload a small image I've got a big big watermark and if I upload a big image I've got a small watermark.

I think the solution can be to apply the watermark after image resize, or find another way because it's unusable!

when are we looking to have 7.1 released, since it seems there are some rather trivial bugs that have been reported that were not working from v6 that have now been pushed to 7.1?

what is the point of reporting on these betas and RC's if the issues are not going to be addressed? the other issue is such that has been stated time and again, is that we need better organization on these forums for bug reporting from those who cannot submit to trac.

this specific forum topic is getting flooded with requests to help configure servers running xammp and wamp from home, requests asking how to set file permissions, requests asking how to access the admin panel, how to reset admin password.

with this many requests and these folks are for the most part new members and very much appreciated and deserve t have their questions answered, however, we and those who report bugs need to be able to track them that they are being submitted and addressed through proper channels. there are only a few who can submit to trac, even i as moderator am unable to submit to trac.

if something is reported here, it gets buried rather quickly and if there is not a member available that can submit to trac, digging through pages and pages of posts to locate a  possible 'bug' can be very time consuming.

help us get organized here, lets get these forums setup where they are manageable, and lets get some moderation tools available for the moderators?

Luca_it, in the mean time if you really want to use an image for a watermark you can do this as a temp fix. Use a 16x16 favicon, this works well thats what I use. Just after you create the favico.ico, i think that you may have to change the .ico, to a gif, jpg, png extension..
