website down

Hello everyone,

As always relying on you wonderful people to help me out with my site's issues,

This is been happening to me since I upgraded to the latest version and I am pretty tired about it because most of the time this happens I lose all info I put on the site and that's time that I don't have.

Can anybody please tell me why every time I install a module my site goes gone and I need to restore the backup in order to get it back on and when it does come back on all the recent information is gone, please help, thanking you in advance

We need more information. How does it "go down"? Is there a white page, error message, etc.?

A blank page means a PHP error. Check for an error_log file in the site's main directory and post the contents with a timestamp that matches when the error occurs.

If you can not do this, then you might want to allow someone access to the control panel.

You'll need to check your files with either a file manager or FTP client and look for a file called "error_log" in the site's main directory. If you're still not sure, I can take a look. I'll need either FTP or control panel access.
