why this error again ?

i used to get this error when i first installed dolphin7.0.0 STABLE VERSION as a test site. it is when i try to go to forum.

then i solved it out by copying config.php file from one of the RC versions. and same again happening now. i installed a fresh copy of D7.0.1 as a test site. and got the error again. obiously i sorted it by copying config.php from my old D7 site. but my question is why am i getiing this error at all ?? has anyone else had this problem ??

I've not used the forums myself, but some of the modules can require additional edits in the config files depending on your setup.

This might be the issue here?

i didnt have any issuses before with any rc's. so i dont see that can be the problem.

also the config file i just copied is actually from an rc version. so i dnt understand why does the actual config file different from.

anyone else have any knowledge about it ??

may be someone from boonex can jump in and tell us whats the matter here ??

If the only template you were using was the default UNI template then you would not have that problem.

The error shows your running that template. It's a flaw in the templates design.

This same poorly designed template has been mentioned in the forums on more than one occasion.

thanks deano... anyway i can sort it out properly, i mean for ever ? so that i dnt have to keep copying the old config file.
