A Legitimate PHPBB3 / Dolphin 7 Integration

All,

Fair warning - I'm new to Dolphin - but have been hovering over this place for a while and finally did an install. So far I am happy with what I've seen.

That said - I could use some help from the more experienced folks in the group. I need a legitimate PHPBB3 integration or perhaps a solution with a better package than PHPBB3 (which we currently use - http://www.kingofalltrades.com/forum/ )

I'm not willing to trust just anyone to help me on this. I want someone credible - and I want an integration mod that isn't like dangling a stick of dynamite over my site. HLM - hoping you chime in here - I noticed you seem to have a great deal of experience dealing with forums/integration - or at least you know what's BS.

I'm starting talks right now with at least one person offering a package to integrate phpbb3 - but i want to hear everything you guys can throw out - complaints / positive comments - about what is offered currently.

I'm expanding and need to accomplish these things seamlessly on my site over the next couple months. If anyone has legit experience with php script/SQL - hit me up - Im also looking for sustained help long-term on my site - but heed my warning - you will not get the keys to the kingdom without proving to me you are legit and know what you are doing.

Ok folks - I've downloaded SashaE's integration package. I have done most of the integration myself. It appears there are bugs with it. I'll post things as I get them figured out. So far I am also having trouble communicating with the developer - there are NO instructions with the package regarding how to move the old PHPBB3 member data from the old SQL database to the new one. Luckily i have only around 300 or so members - so worse case scenario - I won't be too bad off if they recreate new logins through Dolphin 7 - but I am hoping I hear back from SashaE and get this resolved.

First major bug I have noticed - is that if you login to dolphin - and then click on the new "forum" tab to go into the integration - at first glance - it APPEARS that you will be able to post. However - once you click "new post" it kicks you back to the phpbb3 login page. Tried it with multiple non-admin logins and it won't work. I will give the developer a chance to help remedy this and if that doesn't work I will tear it apart and tell you all the facts associated with this integration package.
