Deanos Tools third-party hack attempt...

I thought this was an interesting error received out of the blue via cron this morning...

Query:

INSERT IGNORE INTO `dbcs_ip_address` (`member_id`, `nick_name`, `ip_address`, `ip_long`, `time_stamp`) VALUES ('12122', 'P'Jhau', '121.54.46.35', '2033593891', '1303201500')
Mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Jhau', '121.54.46.35', '2033593891', '1303201500')' at line 1

Found error in the file '/home/folkdire/public_html/home/modules/deano/deanos_tools/classes/BxDeanosToolsDb.php' at line 194.
Called 'query' function with erroneous argument #0.

I don't believe that is a hack attempt. The tools were trying to record the IP address of a member logging in. The member had a apostrophe in their nick name triggering the error. This just appears to be a bug in the IP recording section of my script.

I will work on a fix. In the future, there is a support forum for this module. http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/topic/Deanos-Tools-Support.htm Please use it.
