HTML mark up error

Hi

I have added a favicon and it works just fine
I added the code to the header
however when viewing my page source code a couple of lines have turned red?

Anyone know the cause and if it is detrimental in any way?

My guess is that you did not properly close the meta tag for the favicon.  Your line ends with favicon.png> and it should end like this. favicon.png />

No I tried that and cleared the cache but there is no change

I suspect that this is because of <br> tag in the HEAD.
