Internet Explorer Images

Hi Folks

I have been testing my site in different browsers before going live.
I use Firefox with no problems and I have tested Chrome and Safari too with no problems.

However on Internet Explorer I have an image issue.
all images on my site display OK in Explorer except images in news articles?
there are just black squares with a white X in them.

It does not really bother me - I am just curious as to the cause.

Many thanks

Right click on the white x and choose properties and check the link to the images.  IE is having an issue finding the image that is linked to on your server and it displays that square with the x.  Some browsers do it as IE does and some will just not display anything on missing images.  Why IE is not finding the images and other browsers are is anyone guess; it is why I don't tend to use IE but maybe looking at the URL of the missing images in IE will give you a clue.

Yes I do not use explorer too but I was curious as to why it happens

The explorer image url reads and will not display:
http://www.mysite.com/m/news/view/media/moxie/files/A/Ad/Adm/Admin/v1.jpg

and the Firefox image url which is fine reads:
http://www.mysite.com/media/moxie/files/A/Ad/Adm/Admin/v1.jpg

Weird? but I never liked Explorer anyway

This is strange; have you looked at it on the Boonex demo site?  Those are two completely different URLs.  the top one is pointing to /modules/boonex/news and the second one is /media.  Could it have something to do with the rewrites?
