It happen today. This morning a user still joined our site.
In the afternoon I made a database backup and checked the anti spam setting.
Later I was going to register a new user manually through the join page. But it doesn't work. If I click join, nothing happen - no warning or error message.
I searched the forums for hours and found many similar problems, but no solution for it.
Any advise what I can do?
(I tested in on different computers, on different browsers, from different locations, cleared all caches, restored the database, optimized the database, checked db for errors and I cant remember what all I checked...)

Well, it's a bit confusing, I know.
I don't mean the join button which leads to the join page. I mean the join button on the join page after you filled in the user details.

As I don't have any idea what can further check, I updated from 7.06 to 7.07 today. But still the same problem as I expected.
Cache cleared, cockies cleard, sessions cleard, server cache cleared...... all done. And as I said it's not only on my computers a problem. On our foundation's computers it is also not possible to join.
Bad is, that we just announced our social network site on different media and to all our friends and members. And now suddenly it is not working.
Or do I have to do a new clean install? I am a volunteer of our foundation and haven't that much time to set up all again (or better to say, I do not like to do it again if possible).
HELP and ADVICE PLEASE!

This is sometimes caused by moving required fields off the join form. Did you change the join form at all in admin? BoonEx Certified Host: Zarconia.net - Fully Supported Shared and Dedicated for Dolphin |
I had this problem and got over it by logging out of the admin page. If you are logged in to the admin area then you are also automatically logged into the main site itself which I believe prevents you from joining as a new member. Basically, you can't join when you are already logged in |

I did it while setting up our site and it worked. People could sing up. Later I didn't change anything of the join form. So that it can not be.

I was not logged in - and also other people which are still not a member can not join.

there the problems on your site - in addition to the registration page
may be - it would be better to redo a clean install with the latest version of dolphin

Those errors have to do with the ones I posted above. It looks like a problem with HTML Purifier.

Did you delete the files in the 4 folders specified in this post?
http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Please-help-someone-Photos-and-Avatars-are-all-blanks.htm
The permission problem you're getting could be due to not being able to write to those files.
Follow the instructions in that post, removing the specified files and verifying the permissions of the folders as instructed.
