spammer prevention mod ?

There is someone registering and spamming my site and I am frustrated with it.... it is achually preventing real users from registering because all they see is the spam user which re-registers using different ip addresses... I have deleted the registrations many times trying to give this jerk a hint but he never goes away.... I am looking for a good security module so I can get rid of this ass* what does everyone recommend. " frustrated" Dan
